I tried yoga for the first time in 1993 at a post-natal yoga course with Pernille Krejsgaard and again in 1996. Then, I took a break from yoga, but 10 years ago I started again and tried different yoga forms and schools. In 2013 I found YOGAMUDRA and immediately felt at home. Here was the form and karma I was looking for! I have since participated in workshops and classes with Bodil Stentebjerg Olsen, Peter Kjær Espensen, Nicolaj Jespersen, Chuck Miller, Kino MacGregor, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Josephine Selander, Petri Räisänen, Kathrin Bruni-Young and others. In 2017, I was trained as a yoga teacher at YOGAMUDRA and have been teaching ever since.
My yoga practice is daily, especially in the form of meditation and pranayama as well as asana practice (two to three times weekly).
My starting point is Astanga-based, but I diligently use elements from Hatha, Yin, Mindful Strength, and from the wealth of inspiration from the fabulous yoga teachers I have learned from with great gratitude. I think yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, body type, physical form. Yoga can always be adapted to the individual, and as a teacher, I consider it my most important task to meet the student where she or he is that day at that time.
I am a graduate of the MSc. in Asian Studies. Is co-owner of a small company, LinkIndo, which advises on Indonesia and teaches Indonesian language and culture. In addition, I work with communication at a school, where I also teach yoga for the staff.
