Yoga for beginners | Course / drop-in

What?
Yoga for beginners is a 60-minute class that you can benefit from joining a couple of times before you continue into the regular drop-in classes.

You can buy the class as an individual course via Prices - just remember to choose the correct date(s). If you are already a member at the studio, you can use your subscription membership or yoga pass to reserve a space via Schedule - then you don't pay any extra.

The Yoga for beginners class will give you a great introduction to how we teach yoga. Usually one of our two founders, Peter, is teaching this class and he has been teaching since 2001 and has a lot of experience in teaching beginners and will get you well started with yoga. In the Yoga for beginners class you will get good, basic skills in relation to breathing and postures with good alignment and safety - skills that you will benefit from in all of our yoga classes, regardless of yoga style. We work with breathing technique, sun salutations and a selection of standing, seated and inverted postures plus relaxation.


At YOGAMUDRA we emphasize safety in the postures ("good alignment") to minimize the risk of injury. And we emphasize modifications, the adaptation of postures to suit individual needs - the practice must suit you and not vice versa.

When?

We have planned the following Yoga for beginners classes and will keep adding dates:

  • 13 Nov. 2018, Tuesday 18:00-19:00
  • 20 Nov. 2018, Tuesday 18:00-19:00
  • 27 Nov. 2018, Tuesday 18:00-19:00
  • 11 Dec. 2018, Tuesday 18:00-19:00
  • 18 Dec. 2018, Tuesday 18:00-19:00
  • If you cannot make it for any of these Yoga for beginners classes, you may join e.g. Astanga, gentle and/or Hatha & yoganidra classes - we promise to take good care of you! You are welcome to call us if in doubts of anything. 

Intro courses marked with * above are taught in English, if international students sign up; otherwise in Danish. Intro courses without * are taught in Danish.

Pregnant?

It is not recommended to start practicing drop-in yoga while being pregnant. Sign up for Yoga for pregnancy instead.
 
What does it cost?

50 dkk., which is paid via Prices for a stand-alone class. If you already have a subscription membership or yogapass you book using that via Schedule.

Pre-registration is required

 

Can I get my payment back?

  • If you cannot make it to the class you signed up for, we can move your registration to another Yoga for beginners class, as long as you let us know in advance; write to info@yogamudra.dk.
  • We refund 50 dkk., if you buy a subscription membership or a 1-year yogapass on (or before) the day of your Yoga for beginners class. Payment is returned 1-2 days after the class.
