You may have heard of many of the well-documented positive effects of a meditation practice? In this class, a simple and practically oriented angle on meditation forms the basis for what we do, and we use the physical Hatha yoga practice to support the meditation. The class is especially aimed at beginners and students that are fairly new to meditation, but you are of course also welcome if you have a more well-established practice.
Through the Hatha yoga practice, a good foundation for the meditation is created. It helps to make it more comfortable and effortless to sit still, to create a better connection to the body and to increase bodily presence, and to make breathing more relaxed and free.
In the meditation part, we stick to simple techniques. You will quickly begin to become more aware of how the mind works and thereby achieve a higher degree of calm and clarity.
