Sri K. Pattabhi JoisSri K. Pattabhi Jois was the master of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga until his death in May 2009. You can read more about Guruji, as he is affectionately called by his students, at the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute website, Kpjayi.org, and here (in Danish).
Today, Guriji's grandson Sri R. Sharath is the foremost teacher of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga and he continues the work at the institute in Mysore, India. |
