4-day Ashtanga yoga intensive for students and teachers
Join Kino and Tim for an in-depth exploration of the philosophy and postures of the Ashtanga yoga method. Each class will give you solid technical instruction in both how to practice and adjust some key postures of the primary and intermediate series. You will learn the traditional Sanskrit chants as well as explore some essential texts including the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita.
* You can leave earlier if you have finished your practice. But start times are 06:30 and possibly 07:30 (shorter practice). Doors will be opened 10 minutes before.

About Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldmann
Tim is authorised by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath Jois to teach Ashtanga yoga. Founder of Miami Life Center, a practioner of the advanced A series and dedicated to the traditional method of Ashtanga yoga. Tim's teaching integrates his studies of Alexander Technique, sitting meditation and pranayama with 20 years of experience as a professional dancer and an internationally acclaimed choreographer. His in-depth knowledge of functional anatomy, alignment as well as the body and mind in stillness and in motion creates the platform upon which his understanding of the Ashtanga practise rests. Kino is an international yoga teacher, author of two books, producer of six Ashtanga yoga DVDs, writer, blogger, world traveler, co-founder of Miami Life Center and founder of Miami Yoga Magazine. Her YouTube channel reached more than 6 million views within the last year. She is one of a select group of people to receive the certification to teach Ashtanga yoga by its founder Sri K. All Ashtanga yoga practitioners can participate and benefit from the weekend workshop, both beginners with a little prior knowledge of Ashtanga yoga and more experienced students. You do not need to practice all of primary series to participate - just bring an open mind and willingness to experiment! The 4-day intensive is for seasoned students and teachers alike. I.e. you do not have to be a yoga teacher or even desire to be a teacher to benefit from this intensive, as it will also work to enhance your personal practice.
