Morning yoga

Start your day in the best possible way with Ashtanga vinyasa yoga tailor-made for you!

Our Ashtanga Guided classes in the morning are shorter than normal and we focus on sun salutations and standing postures. Everybody who has completed an Ashtanga intro course is welcome.

On days when the guided class is followed back-to-back by an Ashtanga Mysore class (Tuesday) you have optimal conditions to adjust your yoga practice after your personal needs for help with, length of and time available for practice.

Example: When an Ashtanga Guided class runs from 7:30 to 8:30 and is followed by an Ashtanga Mysore class from 8:30 to 11:00, you can choose to:

  • Come early (7:15-7:30), receive guidance and instructions through standing and finishing postures, and after relaxation be ready to meet the day at 8:30.
  • Come early (7:15-7:30), receive guidance and instructions through standing postures and then continue Mysore style through seated and finishing postures. We will of course help you with the sequence and instructions for the postures as need be. This can be a great and gentle way to get started with Mysore practice since you have to try to remember fewer postures to begin with. Step-by-step you will develop more confidence and independence in your practice. After rounding off the practice in your own pace you will be ready to meet the day around 9:00, depending on the length of your practice.
  • Come later (8:30-09:45; no access 7:30-8:30), and practice Mysore style through all the postures that you practice. We will of course help you with the sequence and instructions for the postures as need be. After rounding off the practice in your own pace you will be ready to meet the day no later than 10:45 and maybe earlier, depending on when you started and the length of your practice.

Please note that there is no extra cost if you join both classes! If you have a yoga pass for 10 or 20 classes (a 'clip card'), you check in only once per practice (for the first class that you join). If you have an unlimited membership e.g. subscription, we kindly ask you to check in for both classes if you combine Ashtanga Guided and Ashtanga Mysore classes.

Ask the teacher in the class or send an email to if you have any questions! We look forward to having you with us.
